The first half of this year’s Super Bowl matchup
It’s time to start setting up the matchup for Super Bowl LIX, as we’re just minutes away from the kickoff of this year’s NFC Championship Game. We’re getting the rubber match between two teams from the NFC East, as the Philadelphia Eagles will play host to the Washington Commanders.
This is the third straight home game for the Eagles, as they beat Green Bay on Super Wild Card Weekend and took down the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round to get to this spot. The Commanders beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first playoff game and then did us all the favor of curbstomping Detroit in the Divisional playoffs last week to advance.
These two teams split their regular season matchups against each other. They met in Philadelphia back in Week 11 on Thursday Night Football, with the Eagles coming out with a 26-18 victory. The rematch came in Week 16 in the nation’s capital, and the Commanders charged back from a 27-14 deficit in the final 18 minutes of play to emerge with a thrilling 36-33 victory.
This game will be kicking off at 2:00 PM Central time, and the coverage will be provided by FOX affiliates around the country.
Here’s how we’re picking this one, courtesy of the folks from Tallysight. As always, we remind you that the lines and numbers may be different for each selector based on when they put their picks into the system, and if you want the latest you can check in with our friends from FanDuel.

Enjoy the game, everyone, and our thread for the AFC Championship Game will be going up on the site at around 5:00 PM Central, half an hour before that one kicks off.
