Injury designations for Sunday’s matchup
The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks issued their final injury reports for Sunday’s matchup, including injury designations. Here they are:
Minnesota Vikings
- CB Fabian Moreau, DNP, OUT
- DT Jalen Redmond, DNP, OUT
- FB C.J. Ham, LP, QUESTIONABLE
- S Harrison Smith, LP, QUESTIONABLE
Moreau and Redmond haven’t practiced all week, so not surprising they’re both out for Sunday’s game. C.J. Ham just showed up on the injury report with an ankle and is questionable. He was limited in Friday’s practice. Harrison Smith had been dealing with a foot injury and was limited in Friday’s practice as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Smith didn’t play out of an abundance of caution, but we’ll see. If Smith can’t go, Theo Jackson could see more reps.
Seattle Seahawks
- TE Brady Russell, Foot, OUT
- LB Trevis Gipson, Ankle, OUT
- S K’Von Wallace, Ankle, OUT
The long injury list for the Seahawks this week resulted in just three players being ruled out and nobody else with an injury designation. All three are backups. Nevertheless, there will likely be a lot of players for the Seahawks not at 100% given all the injuries they’ve been nursing this week as reflected in the long list in previous injury reports this week.
The Seahawks will get RB Kenneth Walker III back, which is a plus for them as he’s been one of the highest rated running backs in the league this season when healthy.
