The Minnesota Vikings have quickly become a farm system that even the Baltimore Orioles would be envious of in terms of NFL coach and front office candidates. The team has seen Josh McCown and Brian Flores receive interest for head coaching interviews, but now another assistant
Grant Udinski, assistant offensive coordinator and quarterbacks, has emerged as a finalist for the Seahawks offensive coordinator position.
Despite being just 29 years old, Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Udinski is a finalist for the position and will interview for a second time with the Seahawks. He has been with the Vikings since 2022. His previous coaching stops include Baylor as a grad assistant and the Carolina Panthers as a coaching assistant.
The Seahawks are looking for a new offensive coordinator after firing Ryan Grubb after just one year in the role. Grubb has previously been the playcaller for the Washington Huskies during their 2023 season, where they reached the National Championship game with Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze.
They hoped he would bring the same magic to the Seahawks but alas, now that duty may fall on the Vikings assistant.
