The divisional round is here. We were hoping for the Minnesota Vikings to be playing, but here we are. Let’s see who everyone thinks will win.
Saturday Games
Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) – 3:30 PM CST
This would be one of the biggest upsets in NFL history if the Texans pull off the win. It isn’t the biggest point spread, but that is more because the Chiefs don’t blow anyone out. The Chiefs were 11-0 in one score games this season. There were a few given to them by missed calls, missed field goals and just some Mahomes magic. I am certainly not predicting for that to end. I would have loved to see the Texans come in with a healthy WR corps. I think we’ll wait for next season.
Chefs 27 – Not Cowboys 20
Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions (-9.5) – 7:00 PM CST
This is an exciting matchup. It will also be a massive upset if the Commanders win. I like the mojo of them. They are scrappy and a bit under the radar. The Lions have been one of the best teams in the NFL this entire season. However, they are very beat up. We will see if that catches up to them. I think this is going to be a back and forth game. I like the upset. Dan Gamble goes for it one too many times.
Commies 38 – Kitties 35
Sunday Games
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5) – 2:00 PM CST
Two months ago I would’ve laughed at the thought the Rams would go into Philadelphia and win. The Eagles are a weird team. When they are on, they are really good. When they are off, the defense looks toothless. I don’t know which one will show up. I trust Matt Stafford and Sean McVay more than I do Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts. Both have been to Super Bowls and both are great combinations. Sneaky good game on Sunday afternoon.
Lambs 23 – Eagles 20
Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills (pick) – 5:30 PM CST
The matchup everyone is looking forward to. The two MVP candidates and two of the top RBs in the league. There is a chance of snow in the afternoon, but it doesn’t look like anything that will stop these offenses. It seems like it’s Josh Allen’s year to put it together, but Lamar has never played with a RB like King Henry. I think he takes over and it’s too much for this Bills team. Another back and forth, but the Ravens get them in the end.
Ravens 34 – Bills 31
