A tripleheader of action on turkey day!
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! As is tradition, the National Football League is bringing us a tripleheader of action on this turkey day, and our Minnesota Vikings are the only team in the NFC North that will not be participating today. Let’s give you the schedule for today’s game.
Things will start, as they always do, in Detroit, with an NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Can the Bears do us a solid and knock the Lions down a bit? I’m not especially hopeful, but the Lions haven’t won on Thanksgiving since 2016 so who knows for sure? Kickoff for this one is slated for 11:30 AM Central time and it will be broadcast on CBS.
From there, we’ll head to Jerryworld in Dallas for an NFC East showdown between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. Yes, both of these teams are bad, but hey. . .football is football, am I right? This game will get going at 3:30 PM Central time and be broadcast on the FOX family of networks.
Finally, the nightcap takes us to Lambeau Field, where the Green Bay Packers will host the Miami Dolphins. The Packers are breathing down Minnesota’s neck in the division while the Dolphins are trying to revive their season after a rough start. This game will start at 7:20 PM Central time and be aired on NBC and Peacock.
Here’s how we’re picking each of these games, courtesy of the folks from Tallysight. As always, we remind you that the lines and numbers for each game will be different for each selector and likely different from the current lines. If you’re going to be watching the games or if you just need a break for a bit, you can feel free to hang out here and watch the game with your fellow Vikings fans.
It’s probably going to be a relatively light posting day here for us, but if any news does break we’ll have it here for you straight away.
Enjoy the games, everybody!
