And why shouldn’t they?
While we’re waiting. . .and waiting. . .for the Minnesota Vikings to get on the clock for their pick on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft, we can take a look at the results of our SB Nation Reacts survey where we asked everyone what they thought of Thursday night’s selection of Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson.
Over 2,500 of you responded to the survey we put up last night, and the results look to be overwhelmingly positive.

Of those who responded, 46%. . .nearly a full-on majority. . .gave the selection an “A” grade. An additional 40% put a “B” grade on it, so the overwhelming majority of folks think that it was, at the very least, an above average pick. There were 10% of those who responded that thought it was an average pick, giving it a “C” grade, while 3% gave it a “D” grade and the final 1% are just miserable people.
Presumably.
Personally, I think it was a pretty solid pick. I fully expect Jackson to be the starter at left guard in Week 1 and push Blake Brandel back to a swing/backup role, which would just give the Vikings even more quality depth since Brandel can back up any of the non-center positions on the line. The Vikings said they were going to remake the interior of the offensive line after what they watched in the Wild Card loss, and between the Jackson pick and free agency they’ve definitely done just that.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this survey and sounded off about it in the comments. We’ll probably have some more of these over the course of the weekend, so keep your eyes open!
