The good guys lead by more!
Get those fours up, everybody, because we’re heading to the last fifteen minutes of the 2024 home opener at U.S. Bank Stadium and our Minnesota Vikings currently lead the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 20-7.
So I thought my internet issues were over, but they weren’t. . .however, I did get things back working in time to see Josh Metellus get an interception of Brock Purdy off of a tip drill to set the Vikings up at the San Francisco 10-yard line!

That led to an easy 10-yard touchdown pass from Sam Darnold to Jalen Nailor to extend the Minnesota lead to 20-7.
Easy work for Darnold & Nailor TD Vikings!

The Niners turned it over again on their next possession, as Purdy had the ball just slip out of his hand on a pass attempt and Jihad Ward grabbed it out of the air for an interception!
The Vikings were then driving for more points, but on the last play of the quarter Darnold hit Aaron Jones on a screen pass and a big hit by Fred Warner caused Jones to lose it at the 2-yard line with the Niners recovering near the goal line.
As we move to the fourth quarter, the Niners have a 2nd-and-6 from their own 5-yard line.
Can the Vikings hold on to this lead and move to 2-0 on the season? Come hang out with us for the fourth quarter and find out!
