The Minnesota Vikings’ performance against the Bears is a mixed bag if we have ever had one. The Vikings had to go to overtime to finish the job, and to be honest, they should never have made it that far.
The Vikings’ defense collapsed in the second half after Kevin O’Connell trusted them when he went for it on fourth down late in the fourth quarter. Sam Darnold played the absolute best game of the season showing everyone that he can handle the ups and downs of the position.
This isn’t any version of the former top pick we have seen. This performance has a lot to unpack; let’s do our best, do our teacher’s work, and grade this performance.
