Let’s do this thing, folks!
We are right around thirty minutes away from kickoff in Green Bay, ladies and gentlemen. It’s another installment of the Border Battle between the Green Bay Packers and your Minnesota Vikings, and here’s everything you need to know leading up to today’s game.

Three Keys
1) Keep up the defensive pressure – It looks like the Packers will be bringing back Jordan Love after he missed a couple of games with a knee injury. He’s reportedly less than 100%, and that’s just more reason for the Minnesota defense to keep up the kind of pressure that they’ve shown over the first three weeks of the season. The Vikings lead the NFL in sacks, and if Love doesn’t have all his mobility, the Vikings need to make sure they’re in his face all day long.
2) Be smart with the football – It’s a pretty simple formula for the Vikings under Kevin O’Connell. They’re 20-0 in the regular season when they’re even or better in the turnover battle and 3-14 when they’re not. The Vikings had a turnover-free game last week against Houston, and the Packers lead the NFL in interceptions through three games. If the Vikings can take care of the ball, they should be in good shape.
3) Continue winning on special teams – The Vikings are doing the little things right in pretty much every phase of the game, and we saw that on special teams last week. Will Reichard has been solid and Ryan Wright appears to have turned things around a bit. This is a trend that the Vikings need to see continue, particularly in a hostile environment like Green Bay.

That should be everything you need to get yourself caught up on today’s matchup between the Vikings and the Packers. As always, we’ll be dropping a new discussion thread at the start of every quarter, so keep an eye out for those and keep the comments moving along accordingly.
Here’s hoping that in a few hours we’ll all meet back here to talk about how awesome it feels to be 4-0 going into the big trip overseas.
