The good guys are up by two scores
They’re heading into the locker rooms at halftime at U.S. Bank Stadium, and your Minnesota Vikings have scored 13 unanswered points to take a 13-3 lead over the Green Bay Packers in this huge NFC North matchup.
The Vikings started the second quarter with the football, and they notched the game’s first touchdown when Sam Darnold found a wide open Jalen Nailor for a 31-yard touchdown to make it a 7-3 ball game a little over three minutes into the second quarter.

On the Packers’ next possession, they once again pushed into Minnesota territory and faced a 4th-and-2 at the Minnesota 23-yard line. Matt LaFleur rolled the dice and kept the offense on the field, and Jordan Love’s pass fell incomplete for a turnover on downs.
The Vikings once again marched into Green Bay territory and got themselves into a goal-to-go situation, but couldn’t punch the ball into the end zone and had to settle for a 25-yard field goal from Will Reichard to make it 10-3 just ahead of the two-minute warning.
The Vikings’ defense then forced another punt, and the Vikings marched into Green Bay territory once again. After some pretty horrific clock management, they called on Reichard again, and he initially missed from 55 yards out, but an offsides penalty on Green Bay gave Reichard another opportunity, and he connected from 50 to make it 13-3 going into halftime.
That’s where things stand halfway through this one, with the Vikings getting the ball to start the second half.
We’re at halftime at U.S. Bank Stadium, with the Minnesota Vikings leading the Green Bay Packers by a score of 13-3. Come on in and join us for the third quarter of play!
