The good guys still trail
Get those fours up, everybody, because we’re heading to the final fifteen minutes of this one with the Minnesota Vikings trailing the Detroit Lions by a score of 28-17.
The Vikings got the ball to start the quarter and quickly marched out to midfield, averting disaster when a play that was originally ruled to be a fumble by Jalen Nailor and returned for a Detroit touchdown was overturned because Nailor had clearly stepped out of bounds. The Vikings got a second chance and took advantage of it, as Sam Darnold found Justin Jefferson for a 25-yard touchdown to cut the Detroit lead to 21-17.

Unfortunately, Detroit answered right back, this time on another Goff touchdown pass as he found Khalif Raymond for a 21-yard score to make it 28-17 with just under six minutes left.
Undeterred, the Vikings moved the ball back down the field again, overcoming multiple penalties, and are now looking at a 3rd-and-16 from the Detroit 30-yard line as we move to the fourth quarter.
Can the Vikings make this comeback? A lot of things are going to have to change, but the Vikings are down 28-17 as the fourth quarter starts and looking for more points. Come join us to see how it ends!
