The week has started
It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for the first injury reports of the week for the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings as they prepare for their Sunday Night Football matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium. Let’s take a look at which players for each side are dealing with injuries this week.
Indianapolis Colts

- WR Josh Downs (toe)
- C Ryan Kelly (calf/knee)
- WR Michael Pittman (back)
- OT Bernhard Raimann (concussion)
- OT Braden Smith (knee)

No players listed
Full Participation
- DE Genard Avery (foot)
- QB Anthony Richardson (wrist/shoulder)
The Colts had three of their starting offensive linemen sitting out of the first practice session of the week, both their starting tackles and their starting center. It will definitely be difficult for the Colts if they don’t have those guys, so we’ll have to see how things progress through the week with them.
Minnesota Vikings
Did Not Participate
- LB Blake Cashman (toe)
Limited Participation
- OT David Quessenberry (knee)
- DL Taki Taimani (ankle)
Full Participation
- CB Akayleb Evans (ankle)
- TE T.J. Hockenson (knee)
- S Theo Jackson (hand)
- TE Josh Oliver (wrist)
- G Dalton Risner (back)
The big one for the Vikings is obviously Cashman, who has missed the last two games with his toe issue. Kevin O’Connell is optimistic about his chances for being back for Sunday’s game, but again, we’ll have to see how things progress through the week.
That’s the first injury report of the week for the Vikings and the Colts as they prepare for this week’s Sunday Night Football matchup. We’ll keep these updated throughout the week since there are several stories worth monitoring.
