Pretty impressive, honestly
We established several weeks ago that when it comes to celebrations in the National Football League, Minnesota Vikings safety Camryn Bynum is the king. His latest work, however, has garnered him true international fame.
Bynum reeled in an interception of Mac Jones that sealed the Vikings’ ugly 12-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and celebrated by paying tribute to RayGun, the Australian breakdancer whose performance in the 2024 Summer Olympics brought her great. . .recognition. Yeah, let’s go with “recognition.”
Here’s Bynum’s celebration after the pick, with RayGun’s performance included for comparison.
I think he nailed it, honestly.
Well, as it turns out, she thought Bynum’s tribute was pretty outstanding, and said as much on her Instagram.
It’s pretty awesome to see RayGun. . .whose real name is Rachael Gunn. . .being such a good sport about Bynum’s celebration after all of the flak she took when it happened. And who knows. . .maybe there will be a collaboration coming in the near future. Maybe the team can get her to sound the Gjallarhorn if she’s not busy. Who knows where this could lead, honestly?
