The Minnesota Vikings started out with some rough going, but they eventually did enough to secure a win, albeit an ugly one. The Vikings got off the losing skid, overcame some turnovers, and the offense started to look somewhat normal once again.
Now, Sam Darnold gave the offense the complete experience with three turnovers and three touchdowns, but that has to change. The pass rush struggled all game long, which affected some coverage ability that Brian Flores attempted. For kickers, Will Reichard may have suffered a hamstring injury, which resulted in him missing his first two kicks of his career.
It was a long game, in more ways than one, but the Vikings powered through. Here are our takeaways from the game.
