A three-game road trip starts this week
The Minnesota Vikings kick off a three-game road trip in Week 10, as they’ll head to Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuval County to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Vikings got themselves back on the winning track in Week 9, taking down the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 21-13 on Sunday Night Football in a game where the defense didn’t allow a touchdown. That moved their record to 6-2 and kept them in the top Wild Card spot in the NFC at the midway point of the season.
The Jaguars are currently on a two-game losing streak and find themselves in the basement of the AFC South with a record of 2-7. They’ve lost their past two games to Green Bay and Philadelphia by a combined eight points, but they’re still in the midst of what can only be considered a disappointing season thus far.
This game will also be a bit of a homecoming for Vikings’ offensive tackle Cam Robinson, who the Vikings acquired from the Jaguars after the season-ending injury to Christian Darrisaw. Robinson had started the Jaguars’ first seven games of the year before getting benched before their game against Green Bay and subsequently traded to Minnesota.
According to FanDuel, Minnesota is a 4.5-point favorite over the Jaguars, and the over/under is currently at 46.5 points.
Kickoff for this one is scheduled for noon Central time and FOX will carry the broadcast.
