The Past Week on Twinkie Town:
- The Twins welcomed a few new names to the team after the international free agent signing period. Although they didn’t come away with the top name, Roki Sasaki, they managed to sign several prospects from MLB Pipeline’s Top 50 international prospect list. Ben Jones has more on the new additions.

- Even with the relative quiet of the offseason, Dan Hayes at The Athletic reports that the Twins are trying to be active in the free-agent and trade market ($).
- The Twins announced the broadcast crew for Twins.TV, which does not include Roy Smalley, who announced his retirement a few days ago.
In the World of Baseball:
- Much to the chagrin of the majority of the baseball world, Japanese international free agent Roki Sasaki signed with the Dodgers. Due to being an international free agent, Sasaki was could only be signed using money from the international free-agent bonus pool.
- After missing out on Sasaki, the Toronto Blue Jays pivoted and signed free-agent outfielder Anthony Santander to a five-year, $90 million deal.
- Not to be undone, the Dodgers also signed closer Tanner Scott to a four-year, $72 million deal.
