The One Where Falvey Gets a Promotion
The Past Week on Twinkie Town:
- The Twins keep making big moves each week – this time announcing that longtime Twins President, Dave St. Peter, will be stepping down, and Derek Falvey will be promoted to Team President, and oversee both the baseball and business operations. Assistant General Manager Jeremy Zoll was also promoted to General Manager, taking over the vacancy left by Thad Levine. Ben Jones has more on the front office changes.

- Zach Koenig takes us back to 2015 and the Twins’ big move to hire a new manager.

- The BBWAA released the 2025 Hall of Fame ballot, headlined by first-timers Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia. Other notable first-timers include Dustin Pedroia, Felix Hernandez, and former Twins Fernando Rodney is also on the ballot. Torii Hunter is the only other player on the ballot with Minnesota ties.
- By the time you read this, the MLB may have already announced the winners of the Rookie of the Year award in the NL and AL. The race in the NL is stellar, featuring Paul Skenes, Jackson Merrill, and Jackson Chourio. Meanwhile, the finalists in the AL are also solid players, with Colton Cowser, Luis Gil, and Austin Wells. Winners will be announced at 6pm eastern today.
