Big news on the TV, ownership, and coaching front
The Past Week on Twinkie Town:
- The Championship Series have started, but the Twins have been extremely busy with a few major announcements over the last week
- John Foley: The Twins will have their TV broadcasting run by MLB, which promises to remove regional blackouts and a direct-to-consumer digital streaming option.
- Brandon Brooks: The Pohlads have announced that they are beginning to explore selling the team. Apparently, they have been considering this since the summer and are now making their intentions public.
- Zach Koenig looks forward to the 2025 season and what the Twins should do with their roster depth.

- As reported by Brandon Warne, the Twins are bringing back Matt Borgschulte as the first piece in rebuilding their hitting staff. Borgschulte was previously with the Orioles and prior to that was the Triple-A St. Paul hitting coach.

- Game 2 of the NLCS and Game 1 of the ALCS are happening today, with the New York Mets facing off against the Los Angeles Dodgers, who currently have a 1-0 lead in the series, while in the American League, the Cleveland Guardians face of against the New York Yankees.
- Clayton Kershaw announced he’s planning to come back in 2025. Kershaw has a $10 million player option for next season. His 2024 season was cut short by injuries, as he healed from shoulder surgery last offseason and then dealt with a toe injury that ended his season.
