And a massive rivalry on the mat as #2 Iowa comes into the Pav on Friday night as the Gophers look to pull another upset. As always here is your full Valentines/President’s Day Weekend schedule and how you can catch the action.

The Gopher softball team will look to turn their season around in Weekend #2 after going 1-3 to start the season in Arizona last weekend. The #3 ranked Gopher women’s hockey team faces off against #11 St. Cloud State in an home and home series this weekend. Minnesota has struggled with St. Cloud State as of late, so this weekend is a big opportunity to pick up a couple of big wins as they head into the final weekend of regular season play. Friday night’s game is at Ridder Arena and is set for a 6 PM faceoff streaming on B1G+.

After Thursday night’s results, Minnesota sits in 12th place in the Big Ten with a 7-7 record. Oregon is a game ahead of the Gophers at 8-6. A win could bring the Gophers back into a tie for 8th place, which would be key with just three games remaining in the regular season.
