The Gophers have their quarterback for 2024
After an official visit, New Hampshire quarterback Max Brosmer announced Sunday that he will transfer to Minnesota. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

In his third year as the starting quarterback for the Wildcats, Brosmer led all of FCS in passing this season with 3,449 passing yards. He completed 64 percent of his passes and threw 29 touchdowns and five interceptions. Brosmer leaves New Hampshire having passed for 8,713 yards and 70 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in his career.
With redshirt senior Cole Kramer expected to transfer after starting the bowl game, the Gophers do not have a returning scholarship quarterback on the roster for next season. High school prospect Drake Lindsey is expected to sign later this month and enroll in the spring, making him Brosmer’s only competition for the starting spot. I would not be surprised if Minnesota looks to add at least one more quarterback from the portal this offseason.
