The Gophers head to the Coliseum
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. CT when the Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-3) head west for their first Big Ten conference matchup against the UCLA Bruins (1-3) on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
This will be the first meeting between the two programs since 1978, when Cal Stoll’s Gophers dropped a 17-3 loss to the No. 18-ranked Bruins at the Coliseum.
Under first-year head coach DeShaun Foster, UCLA opened the season with a narrow three-point road victory over Hawaii before dropping three straight to Indiana, LSU, and Oregon — all of whom are currently ranked in the Top 25. The Bruins will face No. 7-ranked Penn State on the road this Saturday before returning home to play Minnesota.
