The battle for the Governor’s Victory Bell
Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT when the Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-4) host the No. 6-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions (8-1) on Saturday, Nov. 23, for their final home game.
The game will be televised on CBS.
Penn State no longer controls their own destiny in the Big Ten after a 20-13 loss to Ohio State, but the Nittany Lions are very much in College Football Playoff contention.
These two programs last met in 2022, when Penn State prevailed in a 45-17 blowout in State College. The Nittany Lions’ last visit to Huntington Bank Stadium saw the Gophers upset the No. 9-ranked team in the country in a 31-26 nail-biter in 2019.
