Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT when the Minnesota Golden Gophers (5-3) head to Champaign next Saturday for a road game against the No. 20-ranked Illinois Fighting Illini (6-2).
The game will be televised on FS1.
Illinois is coming off of a 38-9 loss to No. 1-ranked Oregon. Both of their losses this season have come on the road against opponents ranked in the Top 10.
The Gophers have lost three straight to the Fighting Illini, including an improbable 27-26 loss at home last year. Minnesota’s last visit to Champaign was not so fun, as the Gophers were roughed up in a 26-14 loss. Head coach Bret Bielema is 10-0 in his career against Minnesota.
