Bobby Durkin is coming to Minnesota by way of Davidson.
Bobby Durkin
Ht: 6’7”
Wt: 220
Hometown: Darien, IL
Durkin has played two seasons for the Davidson Wildcats. He started 17 games as a freshman and then all 32 games as a sophomore as he averaged 13.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He hit 20 points or more seven times this season and had four double-doubles.
Coach Medved likes Durkin’s versatiliyt and all-around game.
“He’s a versatile player who can create space and has good floor vision. In addition, his defensive play and rebounding ability really stands out. We’re excited to have Bobby as a Golden Gopher.”
He also made 35.5% threes on 256 attempts.
I would expect that Durkin is a depth position player for Medved and the Gophers next year. On this roster he will not be responsible for carrying the load offensively and could take advantage of being in the right places.
Perhaps more importantly, he will have two seasons of eligibility left.
Medved now has six players on his 2025-26 roster.
