The events kick off Wednesday evening
The Minnesota Golden Gophers will not need to travel far to complete in the 2025 Big Ten Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Minnesota will host the event at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center with events beginning Wednesday evening and continuing through Saturday evening. Wednesday evening will feature a pair of relay finals. Thursday through Saturday, the day will begin with swimming prelims at 10 a.m. CT followed by diving trials at 12 p.m. CT. Diving consolation finals will then begin at 5 p.m CT, followed by the rest of finals at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The Minnesota men’s swim team is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten this season. They have yet to lose in their home pool going 5-0 on the season. While that won’t continue this weekend several Gophers could have a successful meet. Second ranked nationally Indiana is the favorite with Michigan ranked #10 in the nation, Ohio State #13, USC #16, and the Gophers #24.
