A huge win at Iowa and then upsetting #15 Oregon have put a little excitement into the Gopher men’s basketball season. It has been Garcia leading the Gophers during this current winning streak.
At Iowa he had 21 points and six rebounds. Against Oregon he scored 31, hitting 3 of 5 from three.
This is the second time Garcia has won this award, the first this season. He is currently 3rd in the Big Ten in scoring with 19.7 points per game and is 11th in rebounding with 7.4 per game.
