Another in-state recruit is staying home
Joining fellow in-state recruit Ethan Stendel with a late Wednesday night verbal commitment was defensive end Colin Hansen. The Byron product received an offer after camping with the Golden Gophers and committed to Minnesota on the spot.

Scouting Report
There is clay to be molded with Hansen, who possesses a combination of length and athleticism that can be difficult to find. At 6’5” and 230 lbs., he has the frame of a Power 5 defensive end to go along with good quickness. Hansen has also flashed a variety of pass rush moves on film, which must have been on display when he camped at Minnesota and drew the attention of head coach P.J. Fleck and defensive line coach Winston DeLattiboudere. He will need to continue to add to his frame at the college level, but the physical tools are there.
