Indiana
The Gophers have won 3 consecutive Big Ten games and 7 overall! Can you believe that? The more important question is, can they get a 4th straight Big Ten win by beating the Hoosiers in Bloomington?
Indiana Hoosiers
Record: 11-5 (3-2)
KenPom Rank: 92
Frankly, the Hoosiers are not a great basketball team this year. They are down like much of the Big Ten. But this team has been a different team on the road as to playing at home with their only home loss of the season coming to Kansas and losing just by 4.
Another solid test for the Gophers who are growing in confidence with each and every game. Can they come away with a huge road win?
KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN
The bench is huge – Indiana plays a lot of guys, but it is their starters who contribute the vast majority of their points. The Gopher bench outplaying the Hoosier bench could make for a significant advantage.
Don’t start slow – We don’t necessarily have to start fast, but starting the game 1/15 from three is going to be difficult to come back from. Just play well enough to stay in this game throughout and keep playing with the toughness that Minnesota has played with over the last 7 1⁄2 games.
Dominate rebounding – Despite having to talented big men, rebounding on both ends of the floor has been a problem for Indiana. Kel’el Ware rebounds well, but as a team the Hoosiers rank in the mid-200s on offensive and defensive rebounding percentage.
PREDICTION
Winning on the road is always extremely difficult.
Good reminder that winning on the road in the B1G is extremely difficult https://t.co/HMpTY59WvU

Winning a 4th Big Ten game in a row is also extremely difficult.
Can the Gophers win today? Yes, they can. Will they? I’m going to predict no. This team is making me a believer, but I’m going to stick with my gut on this one that the grind of the Big Ten schedule is going to catch up with us.
Minnesota – 66
Indiana – 71
