Ryan Eichten and Leo Sun go over another Wolves loss to the Pacers with Obi Toppin shooting the lights out again.
On today’s episode, Ryan Eichten and Leo Sun break the Minnesota Timberwolves losing again to the Indiana Pacers with Obi Toppin again scoring 20 points, making another six 3-pointers.
— The Timberwolves have lost three of their last four games following their eight-game win streak to start the month of March. Have the Wolves lost all of the mojo that led them on the winning streak?
— Many aspects of the current Wolves team are reminiscent of the early-season struggles including the defense struggling, the abundance of turnovers, Jaden McDaniels struggling on both sides of the ball, and a lack of ball movement especially from Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.
— Edwards has shot 23.1 percent from beyond the arc the past four games including 1-11 in each of the last two games against the Pacers. Should Edwards be taking fewer shots from deep?
— With nine games left in the season, the chance of the Wolves becoming a top-six seed is starting to become a lot more difficult as they are now two games back in the loss column from the Golden State Warriors.
— Chris Finch and Joe Ingles are the Apex Alphas for the week. Finch started Ingles in Friday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans as Ingles’ wife and kids were in town and the team wanted to give Ingles a chance to play in front of family.
— The Wolves now have three days off before facing the Phoenix Suns on Friday and the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Minnesota will likely need to win both games to keep their hopes of avoiding the Play-In Tournament alive.
