Terrence Shannon Jr. fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves at No. 27, but sources tell Jake Fischer that he received consideration as high as the Chicago Bulls at No. 11.
Shannon was a frontrunner for Player of the Year until he was suspended following sexual assault allegations. Shannon was eventually reinstated by Illinois and acquitted in June when the case went to trial. Shannon has maintained his innocence and testified at the trial.
Shannon played in 31 games this season, averaging 23.0 points and 4.0 rebounds. Shannon turns 24 in July.
