The Detroit Pistons plan to conduct interviews for their head coaching vacancy with Sean Sweeney, Micah Nori and JB Bickerstaff.
The Pistons parted ways with Monty Williams this week after signing him to a six-year, $78.5 million deal.
Sweeney is the top assistant coach under Jason Kidd with the Dallas Mavericks, while Nori has the same job with the Minnesota Timberwolves under Chris Finch. Nori took a more active role on the sidelines during the playoffs following Finch’s leg injury.
Bickerstaff was fired as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason.
