The Detroit Pistons have acquired Wendell Moore Jr. and the No. 37 pick in the 2024 NBA draft from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The trade follows the selection of two guards by the Wolves in the first round in Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr.
Moore was the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft out of Duke. Moore has appeared sparingly over 54 games during his first two season with the Wolves. In eight G League games this past season, Moore averaged 19.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 35.2 minutes.
Moore is represented by Mike Miller and Josh Hairston.
