Each week, we will provide an update on the Minnesota Lynx players overseas and how they are performing as part of our Lynx Offseason Update series.
For basketball fans, this is one of the best times of the year. A time where you sit on your couch and watch an unhealthy amount of basketball with games wall-to-wall nearly every day of the week.
Playoff basketball, and games in March in general, just means more as teams fight for a championship and a spot at the top of the college basketball landscape.
For WNBA players, this is also championship time as postseason play continues across the globe this offseason. And for the Minnesota Lynx, a few players added titles to their trophy cases — so far
Let’s look back at the past week with this edition of the Lynx Offseason Update!
Kayla McBride — Laces (United States) and Fenerbahçe (Turkey)
McBride had an impressive season with Laces in Unrivaled, finishing the regular season second in the league in scoring behind only Napheesa Collier and earning All-Unrivaled First Team honors before losing in the semifinal round of the playoffs.
Following an impressive Unrivaled season, McBride now will head overseas to play for Fenerbahçe before WNBA training camp commences.

After starting the Unrivaled season with Phantom, then Laces and back to Phantom to round out the regular season, Hiedeman took the floor with her third team of the Unrivaled season when she suited up for Rose in postseason play.
Even though she didn’t play long with Rose, Hiedeman was the lone Lynx player to appear in the championship game and ended up coming away with an Unrivaled championship. In that championship contest, Hiedeman didn’t appear off the bench.
