Joe Ingles has agreed to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year deal. Ingles was previously teammates with Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley with the Utah Jazz. Ingles will essentially replace Kyle Anderson in the Minnesota rotation, but as a better spot-up shooter.
Last week, the Orlando Magic declined their $11 million option on Ingles after signing him last offseason to a two-year, $22 million contract. Ingles is represented by Mark Bartelstein.
Last season, Ingles averaged 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 17.2 minutes over 68 games with the Magic.
