40 games down, 42 to go. As we turn the corner on the first half of the season, it’s time to submit your first semester grades.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have continued their topsy-turvy season at the halfway point. Losing streaks. Winning streaks. Quarters where they look like the 2010 Wolves. Quarters where they look like the 2024 Wolves. All of that has come to pass and Minnesota is sitting at a 21-19 record, good for the 8th seed in the Western Conference.
Let’s check-in, shall we?
Welcome to Canis Pulsus Vol. 39.
For those of you who have been ignoring this series (for good reason, no offense taken) — Canis Pulsus is designed to give our Canis Hoopus community a published voice.
A pulse, if you will.
We all know that if CH occupied all seats of the Minnesota Timberwolves front office, we would be celebrating our 35th consecutive championship this year. So now is your time to play armchair GM. Who would you acquire in the draft and offseason?
It’s a simple concept, really. Just submit your vote as honestly or sarcastically as you would like. All individual submissions will remain anonymous so no one will know you gave the front office an A+ grade. Once the polls close, the results as a whole will be published on Canis Hoopus and (in theory) be sent to the arbitration committee to review.
