Anthony Edwards has for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco for the third time in his young NBA career.
On Thursday, Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards was selected to the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco as a Western Conference reserve. It is the third time Edwards has made the All-Star game, earning the honor each of the last two seasons.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft has played in all 47 of the Timberwolves’ games this season and has averaged a career-high 26.4 points per game. Edwards also has seen a dramatic jump in his 3-point shooting as he leads the NBA with 192 made 3-pointers.
Edwards is just the second Timberwolves player to be selected to three consecutive All-Star Games, as Kevin Garnett was selected to eight consecutive All-Star Games from 2000-2007.

After a somewhat slow start to the season, Ant has exploded as late offensively. Since the beginning of January, Edwards has scored just shy of 30 points per game including 5.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds, while making 42.6 percent of his near ten 3-point attempts per game.
The news that Edwards would be headed to San Francisco for the NBA’s premier night of the regular season was announced on Inside the NBA on TNT by Shaquille O’Neal.

Joining Edwards on the list of Western Conference reserves are Anthony Davis, James Harden, Jaren Jackson Jr., and three first-time All-Stars in Alperen Şengün, Jalen Williams, and Victor Wembanyama.
During last season’s All-Star game, Edwards scored only four points in on just three total shots. The season before, Ant scored 12 points on 6-8 shooting. He has yet to make a 3-pointer in an All-Star game, missing all three attempts.
